Sunday, December 9 at 3pm and 5pm
UW Health Sciences Learning Center
The holiday season can be a time of mixed emotions. This is especially true for those of us who have had loved ones depart from our lives recently. In recognition of this, Friends of UW Health is offering a program called Love Lights to provide friends and family the opportunity to honor and remember special people in their lives.
Lights located outside the main entrances of UW Hospital and Clinics will be illuminated by Love Lights throughout the winter season to provide public recognition of special people in our lives.
For a minimum $5 donation, one Love Light will be hung. Place three lights for $10, 100 lights for $100 or an entire grid of lights for $500. Larger gifts are welcome.
The names of all honorees will be included on uwhealth.org/lovelights, displayed at the entrance of both the main Hospital and Clinic entrances at University Hospital and in the ceremony program on December 9, 2018.
Everyone is invited to attend a special indoor Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. in the Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Avenue, Madison, next to University Hospital. The outdoor Lighting Ceremony concludes the event at the main entrance of University Hospital. The Love Lights program directly benefits UW Health patients and their families through Friends of UW Health.
