To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, Friends of UW Health is lighting the entrance of University Hospital with Pink Lights. To recognize the person in your life who has been affected by breast cancer, reserve a pink light. Proceeds will benefit cancer patients at the UW Health Breast Center and their families.
Everyone is invited to attend a special indoor celebratory ceremony on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:30 am immediately following the Carbone Race for Research 5K Run/Walk. The ceremony will take place in the Health Sciences Learning Center, located at 750 Highland Avenue, Madison, next to University Hospital. The event will feature Dr. Lee Wilke, director of the UW Health Breast Center. An outdoor lighting ceremony concludes the event at the main entrance of University Hospital.
